How to Connect the Scanner with the Vehicle: a) Turn the ignition off. b) Connect the code reader’s plug to the vehicle’s OBDII port. c) Turn the ignition on without starting the engine. d) The code reader will automatically link to the vehicle’s computer. e) Refer to the manual for further details.

Troubleshooting: - Screen Issues: If the scanner’s screen does not turn on, check the vehicle’s fuse box for the OBD port fuse, typically shared with the cigarette socket. A blown fuse will prevent the scanner from powering on. - Function Limitations: The scanner supports engine system and emission system diagnostics only. It does not read VINs or support other systems like Air Bag, ABS, Brake, Suspension, Oil Service, Maintenance Reset, or Battery Registration.

Supported Vehicles: The scanner theoretically works with most 1996 US-based, 2000 EU-based, and Asian cars, and newer OBD II & CAN domestic or import vehicles. Connectivity issues may arise due to datalink problems with certain vehicle ports.
